Sumptuous Planet
RPK's second project, "Sumptuous Planet", featured the Latvian premieres of eight choral works written within the past five years. The eight pieces were broadly connected by themes of life, nature and relationships. David Shapiro's "Sumptuous Planet", from which the project's title was taken, discussed the hundred million-century history of the Earth, which we are able to enjoy for just a brief and sparkling moment.

The program included music by world-famous composers, as well as young and promising ​musicians. Featured composers included the Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer David Lang, the Swiss composer Ivo Antognini, and the highly lauded British composers Tarik O'Regan and Gabriel Jackson.
