Introducing the Riga Project Choir
The Riga Project Choir returned to the stage after an extended pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The choir presented a wide-ranging program featuring pieces from its past four years of repertoire, re-introducing the choir to audiences throughout Riga. The Riga Project Choir presented three performances in different neighborhoods of Riga. Together with accompanist Līga Paegle, the choir's program ranged from the dramatic motets of Johannes Brahms to the modern masterpieces of James MacMillan, as well as works by the promising American composer Blake Wilson and English church music expert Herbert Howells.
